Camp West Hartford (ages 4-14)
Camp West Hartford, also known as “Camp WeHa”, is all about having a great time in a safe and fun environment! The staff at Camp West Hartford prides themselves on being extremely energetic and attentive all summer long. Children ages 3-14 will try new activities, gain confidence, and make friendships and memories that will last a lifetime!
*We accept Care 4 Kids and offer financial assistance.
BELL Power Scholars Academy (entering grades 1-4)
We also offer the BELL Power Scholars Academy. In this program, your camper can have a way-better-than-ordinary camp experience while preparing to leap back into the school year with a head-start! Through a transition over the course of the summer, campers will gradually dig into grade-level lessons with certified teachers and instructional coaches. Your child will spend the first half of their day in a classroom with a certified teacher and be instructed through the BELL curriculum which has been proven to improve children’s scores in math and reading in addition to increasing their self-confidence in the classroom! During the second half of the day, your child will participate in STEM activities, nature activities, and themed games! Campers will be excited to come to camp every day, leave every day tired, and at the end of the summer they will have learned more than they’ll ever realize! WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND SENDING YOUR CHILD TO ALL 5 SESSIONS!
C.I.T. (Counselor in Training) Program (Ages 14-16)
Teens are invited to join our C.I.T. Program! In this program, teens will learn a variety of leadership skills that will enhance their ability to successfully work with children. Participants will also take part in team building activities and games throughout the camp day, as well as develop the skills needed to become a future counselor! Sign up for our 2-week sessions, 4-week sessions, or sign up for all 8 weeks to get the full C.I.T. Experience!
