Red Cross Lifeguard Training (Ages 15 & up)

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training provides the skills, knowledge, and professional development necessary to keep aquatic facility users safe in and around the water. Those completing the course will be certified. CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid/AED, and administering emergency oxygen are included in the training. Contact us for all prerequisites needed.

Parent and Child/ Water Discovery

Parent Child/Water Discovery: Children, 6 months to 3 years, will enjoy the many water-readiness activities provided by our YMCA aquatics instructors. This is one of the most important skills every child should master - feeling safe in the water. Children progress from water adjustment to basic skills while working with parents. One adult must be in the water with their child at all times.

Parent and Child/Water Exploration

Parent Child/Water Exploration: This class, designed for children ages 2 to 3, adapts basic swimming skills to your child's developmental level including, body positions, floating, blowing bubbles, and fundamental safety and aquatics skills.  One adult must be in the water with their child for a portion of the class.

7. Porpoise Club (Ages 11-15)

This club is for youths who have completed the YMCA swim levels through Shark (ages 11–15). This class will enhance their existing skills and teach them more including: Lifesaving skills, personal safety and personal growth, competitive skills, snorkeling/skin diving, water sports, and volunteering opportunities.

6 Week training session with Sarah or Alycia for comepetitive swimmers interested in growing their skills to eventually make swim team.
Requirements: Must be able to swim down and back in lap pool

Youth Swim Lessons

In an effort to make registration easier, all you have to do is choose the age group and the time you'd like to come to class - we will separate all swimmers according to their swim levels and we will track and monitor their progression.

Would you be interested?
This swim team would be a no-pressure swim team for ages 5years-12years .
That means no pressure for kids no pressure for parents. Adaptive Swim team on Saunday for practice and quarterly swim meets.
