100 Mile Swim Club

Get in great shape with your friends at the Farmington Valley YMCA! Keep track of your laps on the pool deck while you challenge yourself to complete 100 miles by the end of the year. All swimmers who successfully complete the challenge will receive an official finisher?s shirt and will look absolutely amazing at the end! 1 length = 25 yards 71 lengths = 1760 yards = 1 mile 7100 lengths = 100 miles

AQUA FITNESS

This very popular class is designed for the general population—all are welcome. The class participant will experience a great cardio workout while providing low-impact, muscular resistance, and a wide range of exercises.

Cardio Pump

Cardio Pump is a 60 minute class using barbells and body bars to tone and condition muscles while giving you rapid fat-burning results. This resistance training to music is a class that will tone and strengthen your whole body in no time via a series of weight-bearing exercises including squats, presses, and lifts. The class finishes with a cool down and stretch.

INSANITY

INSANITY is a cardio class based on max interval training. This class will push you past your limits with athletic/plyometric drills mixed with intervals of strength, power, resistance, and core training. No equipment or weights needed. you don't have to be in extreme shape -- levels of each exercise are provided. Time to dig deep!

Fuses full-body cardio interval training adn conditioning with drumming to provide a challenging, heart-pumping workout that gives you teh premission to rock using lightly weighted exercise drumsticks called RipStix.
