Diabetes Prevention Program

If you are at least 18 years old, overweight, and are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes, this program can help!  During the year-long program, you meet for 1-hour per week in a small group class with a trained Lifestyle Coach .  The Lifestyle Coach provides class participants with the tools and the support to facilitate you on your journey toward healthier eating, increased physical activity, weight loss and sustainable behavior changes.

Tai Ji Quan-Moving for Better Balance

Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance? is an evidence-based fall prevention program for older adults. The program is delivered in two 45-minute sessions each week for 6 weeks. Each session consists of warm-up exercises; core practices, which include a mix of practice of forms, variations of forms, mini-therapeutic movements; and a brief cool-down.
